Fitness Trainer


Good Morning everyone,

    Today is a great day and I am so excited! Remember I have been telling you all that I have been drinking 1 gallon of water per day, which is 64 ounces, well it is finally paying off. This morning I got on my scale and I weighed in at 232  lbs from 240 lbs, I am so excited. I was on Facebook one day and I met a motivational trainer, I would text her and ask her questions about weight loss and she would always text me back. It was wonderful to find out that she was located here in Baton Rouge Louisiana and her fees were affordable. She is always giving out great advice, not only to me, but to others that are interested in losing weight. Well, when I decided to work out with her I had not made that important visit to my doctor for my physical and that is something I should have done, because I ended up hurting myself. Of course I told her about the pains that I had been having and that I had broken my elbow many years ago and knocked the shoulder bone out-of-place as well. And I told her this information because I knew that I would not be able to lift weights or do certain exercises that may require me to use my arms vigorously. Some things I can do such as move my arms while walking or dancing around. Well, a few weeks ago I went walking and we started off slowly, but then we gradually built up speed. We went around the park 4 times, but when we went around the 3rd time I felt as though my knee was about to go out, due to the fact I had problems with my knees about 2 years ago. After we finished the walk I felt good, but I felt this small pain in my right knee and when I went home I did everything I could to make it feel better, because I did not want anything to get in the way of me losing this horrible weight that I have been carrying around on my body for too long. The pain in my knee only got worst, so I had to inform my trainer that I would not be able to workout with her for a while, at least until after I make my visit to my doctor. She was very understanding and she let me know that my health is very important and I agreed with her, she told me to keep in touch with her and I have. I went to my doctor on April 15th, 2011 and he told me I should have had my physical first before I started this workout and he also told me that I can not walk for a while. He told me to get myself a stationary bike and workout on it, it will not put any pressure on my knees and I can still get the workout that I desire. Hopefully my knees will get better and I will be able to start my walking program again, and this time I will start out doing 15 minutes of walking for a week, then the following week I will add 5 more minutes and gradually work up to walking 30 minutes a day 3 times a week. So the point I am making is, before you start any type of workout, please get your physical and see what your doctor has to say!!

The Crocheting Mom On A Mission


Hello everyone, I am on a mission to succeed at losing this horrific weight and I would like all of the women out there, no matter what age you are, to please join me and we can do this together. Everyone has their good days and their bad days, which consist of eating the wrong foods or not eating at all or by not eating properly, which would be eating in small portions at least six meals a day! One of my joys in my life besides my children is to crochet each and every day, it’s comforting, rewarding and very beneficial to me. I get to design baby blankets without using a pattern, all of the designs come from within. I have been on this journey  of losing weight since January 1, 2009 and there were some days I succeeded and then there were days that I fell apart, due to the fact I had no one to give me that push, that shove to help me to stay on track so that I can reach my goal and see the results I so desperately wanted. Ladies Motivation is the key! I am 243lbs and my goal is to reach 135lbs by December 1, 2011, but to be more realistic, by August 31, 2011 I intend to be 150lbs, and I have the abilities and the capabilities to succeed, because I know now that there are other women in the world that are trying to reach their idea weight goals and now we can do it together! Reach out to me and the other people that will read my blog and tell us your stories and what you are doing to succeed at obtaining your ideal weight. We are all here to help each other and we are not here to judge anyone, we will Motivate each other, and praise each other even when someone loses 1 pound. It’s the effort you put forth that actually counts, your desire to accomplish getting off the fat wagon and getting on the healthy wagon, where you are the weight you are working toward, the size that will please you and all of the benefits you will eventually start to enjoy out of life with your family and friends. You are doing this for yourself, not for anyone else, and if you fall, we are here to help you get back up and the next time you will go further than before! Let me hear your voices ladies!!!

Motivation is Key!

Hello everyone, I am a Crocheting Mom on the mission of succeeding at losing this weight permanently off of my body, I intend to get my sexy back, what about you? I am a mother of seven and a stay at home mom. One of the vises that I definitely will take out of my life are sweets, that’s what help to put the weight on me, just basically eating all of the wrong foods, this is called bad choices. We have all done this, you know it as well as I do, but first you have to admit to it, own up to it, when you do you will start to feel 100% BETTER! By addressing all of the bad foods that put you and I in this horrible place, we will be emphasizing the negatives in our diet so that we can help each other to emphasize the positive potential in our lives. Let’s focus on fixing what’s wrong with our diet, and only what’s wrong and together we will wind up with a way of eating properly that we can actually live with.
